Do you long for a change in your life? Are you searching for your lost inner wisdom that you know is within you, but whose voice you cannot hear? Nature, silence, and the elements of presence help awaken the ancient wisdom within you and help you on your journey towards your authentic self.
Inner wisdom is the place in you where everything is ready. Love, joy, acceptance, knowledge, freedom, and peace live there. Inner wisdom is not always seen or heard on the outside, because many of us are lost in the chaos of the mind, the flood of emotions, external demands, and the abundance of options. We run like “headless chickens” looking for new, usable methods that we imagine will help us on our journey. Sometimes you get temporary help, but at the end of the day each of us has to do the work ourselves. Constantly looking for answers outside of yourself, you go round an endless circle.
Everything you are looking for – is already in you!
Many of us fear silence, because when you encounter it, you get in touch with your true self. The silence in us brings out things that we would rather escape into the world around us than face it. Sooner or later, however, that silence creeps up on us and it’s time to stop. Silence is good.
It teaches you to listen to your inner voice, so that you learn to sense and stay in your own truth and wisdom. Presence, (which is also practiced under the name of meditation, quieting and mindfulness) is the moment when you live in this moment. You detach for a moment from the always babbling mind and experience a glimpse of the truth. A moment can be over in the blink of an eye, but some part of you recognized it. And I want the experience again. In getting quiet, you don’t have to sit in a certain position or do certain sets of movements or aim for anything. It is not dependent on external factors and is accessible to everyone. Always.
Mother Earth, her beauty and power, again give you endless love and acceptance, without conditions. You can experience the wonders of nature while listening to the silence of the forest, the murmur of a stream or the cooing of a pigeon. Maybe you’ll even catch a glimpse of a fairy’s wing or a glimpse of a possessor’s shadow on your forest walk. Nature always allows us to be who we really are, that’s why the lights and shadows of the forest invite many to it. Nature does not judge or despise, but welcomes us all with open arms.
So go into the forest, all your senses open to the present moment. Hear the silence of the forest, feel the power of presence and open yourself to the love of Mother Earth as the shaman’s drum beats soothingly. Come out of the forest calm, empowered, and take a dose of inner wisdom with you.
