Looking for a shamanic drum that performs reliably regardless of the weather? We're proud to introduce our latest innovation: an adjustable* shamanic drum that's simple to tune! The drum's adjustability makes it a trustworthy companion. During summer's humid weather, you won't be caught out - you can easily adjust the drum skin's tension using the inner tube. This feature is particularly handy when you need an 'always playable' drum for healing work, forest journeys, or performances. Note: We use a car-type valve for easier adjustment. A standard bicycle pump won't be compatible with this valve. A beautiful and unique shaman drum that was handcrafted with love and care in our workshop in Finnish Lapland. The sound is higher and quieter than in bigger drums so it can be played in apartment buildings and other similar environments. Being light-weighted, it’s best suitable for traveling and for children but it is still sturdy enough for not being a toy. S size drum is suitable for small-scale drumming. It has a soft sound that is perfect for playing by oneself, in small groups and for relaxation. You can also use it for decoration. Being environmentally friendly and ethical, we source our materials locally from known and responsible suppliers. The frame is made of double-layered birch plywood which has been waxed with wood wax. The drumhead is Finnish reindeer skin that is either dyed with water colour stain or left natural. There is a wooden handle attached behind the drum. Package includes:

*Please note: whilst the adjustable drum is a reliable instrument, it won't perform in extreme conditions either. Also bear in mind that pumping air - tightening and loosening - stretches the drum skin and will, over time, affect its acoustic properties.
