DIY Shamanic Drum Kit (M-size, brown)
Now you can conveniently make your own drum with this complete kit. Drum making is accessible even for beginners.
The shamanic drum frame is round and brown (colour may differ from the image).
The shamanic drum frame has a diameter of approximately 40 cm. The frame is made of birch plywood and protected with wood wax. The frame is covered with reindeer hide that needs to be soaked before attachment. You can dye the hide with powder stain (sold separately in our shop) or with plant-based dyes. The package also includes materials for the drumstick and handle.
A three-page illustrated colour guide is included.
Read the instructions carefully and allow yourself plenty of time, patience, and crafting joy! We recommend beginners set aside approximately 3-4 hours for the drum-making process.

The package contains nearly everything needed for an undyed shamanic drum. You'll only need scissors, water, a knife, and a few drops of glue.
Viking Drum Valknut 1337
The Viking drum Valknut is lookig for its owner...is it you? The drum has a low sound that resonates deep in the player´s body. It brings with it the Nine Noble Virtues of the Vikings: Courage, truth, honour, fidelity, discipline, hospitality, self-reliance, industriousness and perseverance.
The mystical symbol of Valknut is made of three interlocked triangles that create nine corners. They signify the nine worlds depiced in the Scandinavian mythology. The tree triangles represent a trinity of heaven, earth and hell. Scholars have proposed a variety of explanations for the symbol, sometimes associating it with the god Odin or religious practices surrounding death. The frame is made of 7 mm double layered birch plywood which has been treated with wood wax. The drumhead is made of Finnish reindeer skin and the symbols have been added using silk printing. A wooden handle is attached to the back with strings.
A felted drumstick and instructions for caring for the drum are included.

Viking drum Aegishjalmur is a unique instrument handcraft with care in Finnish Lapland. The deep sound of this medium size drum will soothe your mind and relax your tense muscles. You can even scare away unwanted guests and spirits with its loud sound!
Aegishjalmur (The Helm of Awe) is a well-known Viking era symbol which was painted on warriors´helmets or foreheads. Vikings believed that the Aegishjalmur symbol would grant a victory in every battle which increased their self-confidence and they went into the battle with no worries about their fate. Symbol’s circle in the middle represents a protecting place where the warrior was safe. Eight spikes around the circle represents defence from evil forces and the lines within these spikes strengthened this defence.
