Happy news from Lapland! Rumpu-ukko’s handmade Sami drums are now available at Tunturipuu.fi online store. Tunturipuu.fi is more than just an online store. At Rumpu-ukko, we make each drum by hand here in the tranquility of Lapland. Every drum carries a story that begins with reindeer hide and birch plywood. Our 31×31 cm drums are decorated with carefully selected images: Thunder God Tiermes, Seita, or Reima the Reindeer. These images honour northern culture and bring a touch of Lapland’s spirit with them.

The founders, Anne and Esa, soon realized that holidaying requires much more than just cabin keys – that’s how the idea of an online store that makes holiday life easier was born. Pertti joined with his local knowledge, and Anssi brought expertise in development work.
